Term 3 News

We had been lucky throughout Term 3 for kinder to have been able to remain open, but unfortunately we have had to put on site learning on hold in order to adhere with latest restrictions for lockdown 6.0.

Although currently postponed, our 3yo and 4yo groups had some fantastic incursions and excusrions planned:
  • trip to Myuna Farm
  • visit from the Mobile Farm
  • visit from Dingley Primary
  • visit from the Flying Bookworm Theatre Company
  • health screening from local providers - eye screening, dental checks, and podiatry assessment
Fingers crossed the kids will be able to enjoy these experiences during Term 4!

Jacks Avenue was fortunate to receive two grants recently, one for an art of community project, and one which will fund the installation of a new cubby and some planter boxes. These will be very welcome with the warmer weather not too far away.

A friendly reminder that enrolments for 3yo and 4yo kinder in 2022 are still open, and are submitted via Kingston Council. Applications and lots of information can be found here:

Great news for families! The Victorian government will provide funding for 3yo kinder in 2022, meaning children will now have two years of funded kindergarten.
