Marcus Road Kindergarten is situated in the heart of Dingley, close to local schools and shops.
The building has recently been renovated, offering a warm and spacious environment designed to provide an innovative and flexible educational program.
Both three-year-old and four-year-old educational programs are offered at Marcus Road Kindergarten, taught by fully qualified Teachers in accordance with the National Children's Services Regulations and Act, and the National Quality Framework.
We know that children learn best through play. When at Kinder, they have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of stimulating, fun and educational experiences, including art and crafts, sensory activities, puzzles, books, games and construction.
The outdoor environment at Marcus Road Kindergarten provides natural shade, as well as a large pergola that allows children to engage in outside play year round. A range of textured surfaces and play areas encourage the children to explore and investigate the environment.
As educators, we recognise the importance of developing positive relationships with families, so that we can work together to implement a program that is reflective of each child’s individual needs and interests.
We value the role of the Dingley community, and have developed close relationships with local schools. We work with them to ensure each child has a smooth transition to school. We recognise the valuable impact the wider community can have on children's sense of belonging. We love exploring the 'Village', and enjoy interacting with other members of our community.
Marcus Road Kinder is a community where children and families feel warmly welcomed and quickly develop a sense of belonging. It is a safe and supportive environment for children to gain independence, develop relationships, practice social skills and become confident learners, guided by our caring and passionate teachers.
In accordance with the National Quality Framework we hold a National Quality rating of Exceeding National Quality Standards.

The environment, with its large open spaces, plenty of natural light and large natural outdoor area provides a variety of learning opportunities for all children and assists in catering for the individual needs of children. All educators strive towards meeting the needs of individual children and supporting children’s learning and development.
Learning through play is an essential part of our program assisting children to develop a sense of belonging and connectedness to their community, to become strong in their identity and sense of wellbeing, to become confident and involved learners and to be effective communicators. Through play children create friendships, share humour and most importantly have fun!
